Three pace groups. One welcoming club.
Our Monday runs have three main groups, so runners can find a comfortable place to start and progress. The groups are flexible, and you can move between them as your confidence and fitness grow.
- Group 1Relaxed pace: about 10.5–12 min/mile
Build confidence, find a running rhythm and enjoy sharing the miles.
- Group 2Steady pace: about 9–10.5 min/mile
Develop fitness and endurance while enjoying a sociable group run.
- Group 3Faster pace: about 8–9 min/mile
Maintain a quicker pace, develop performance and work towards your running goals.
Across the three groups, typical running paces range from around 8 to 12 minutes per mile. These are a guide, not rigid categories; ask a run leader if you’re unsure where you’ll feel comfortable.
